Con Artistry by Shaye: I scheduled several services ahead of time, eyebrows waxing, lashes, permanent brows and make up for graduation. Shaye seemed professional until I gave her feedback about my eyebrows. She waxed the tails off and over waxed to the point my skin was raw and scarred. I put a deposit for permanent eyebrows but my skin hurt so much I planned to reschedule the appt. She then decided that she would “postpone” all services and on the day of my graduation she had no intention of keeping my makeup appointment and referred to “postponing services” when she really was avoiding me because she was embarrassed about her shoddy work with my eyebrows. She has since been ignoring messages and calls and has not returned my deposit. Oh and the lashes she did? Fell off in 4 days, all her NovaLash claims were BS. I wouldn’t trust this woman anywhere near a face, if she can’t wax brows imagine what permanent makeup might have looked like..and the fact that she won’t refund my over $100 deposit by ignoring calls and messages, she’s very much a scammer/con artist. A real professional would have not reacted like this, and I was being fairly kind about wanting to reschedule instead of cancel and giving her feedback instead of getting upset which I have every right to be. If you can’t take criticism when your work causes harm, you lack the maturity to be in business and you’re a hazard to the public.
