Are you currently a student or recently graduated? Axcel Finance has an opportunity for young people interested in pursuing a degree in finance. Their internship in Barbados gives you a chance to develop your skills and gain work experience. Some of the tasks included are reviewing applications, interviewing clients and submitting monthly reports. You must have basic research skills, as well as strong written, oral and interpersonal skills. In addition You must be diligent, positive, honest and patient. Deloitte
Deloitte has yearly paid summer internships in Barbados. It runs from June to August for approximately 8-10 years. Interns choose their interest, across Audit & Assurance, Tax, Financial Advisory and Internal Client Service areas. Afterwards, you are granted the chance for real work experience as a junior resource. You are coached on the job using robust training programs and you create many meaningful connections.
Application for these internships are open all year round. Apply at anytime! However, Deloitte suggests that you apply in December.
UNDP
The United Nations Development Programme is searching for an Intern for the Digital Transformation and FUT Tourism Project. For 6 months you will be working with the Project Manager of the Future Tourism Project and the SIDS Digital Transformation Specialist. You will be working in the UNDP Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean office.
Your job is to support knowledge management through a number of tasks. For example, you will be researching and providing on work and digital innovation initiatives in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. You must have a passion about regional issues and strong organizational skills. You should be able to think creatively and be results driven.

AIESAC Programme
DHL has been working with AIESAC from 1996. Their goal is to offer undergraduates and master’s students 6-12 month developmental internships in Barbados and across the Caribbean. Interns work on real and complex projects, developing the skills needed to advance their career.
